Using the Power of Ten in your classroom helps your students develop strategies, pattern recognition, and a problem solving mindset, equipping them for more advanced concepts.

The Power of Ten approach teaches math in an integrated way, paralleling the way the brain learns language. By spiralling the math curriculum throughout the year, students deepen their conceptual knowledge, leading to confident, competent problem solvers.

During your workshop, Anita will seek teacher input to personalize the activities and help problem solve.

For Parents
For Parents

We know young children love being read to, and that reading with your child is the keystone to literacy.

The same applies to math. Children develop basic numeracy concepts at an early age. Playing Power of Ten games with your child builds a strong foundation in math.

Each workshop is customized to your specific goals and needs, which is why we start with a consultation before booking a workshop date.

Supplemental Consulting Services

Just as learning math isn’t restricted to a single lesson, Anita’s assistance isn’t restricted to a single workshop. She is proud to provide ongoing support for teachers and parents following a workshop.

She also provides consulting services for a variety of goals and educator needs, including:

  • Professional Learning Community (PLC)
  • Assessment
  • Supporting struggling learners
  • Challenging strong students
  • Tutors and educational assistants
  • And more.

Our Cancellation Policy

Workshops or attendance at a Power of Ten conference may be cancelled if notice is received at least 60 days in advance. If cancelled in less than 60 days, expenses that have already been paid by Power of Ten Educational Consulting Ltd. will need to be fully or partially paid.
